A teenager has died after she was found on fire in south-west London. Police and the London Fire Brigade were called to a level crossing on West Barnes Lane, New Malden, where they found the 18-year-old on fire. They put out the blaze but the woman died at the scene.
A formal identification is yet to be made, but police believe they know the identity of the woman and her next of kin have been notified. The cause of the fire is being investigated, and police are treating the death as unexplained. It's believed the fire started at a nearby home in Linkway
