A suntanned Bob Crow has refused to answer questions about his recent cruise holiday. The RMT leader was pictured on a beach in Brazil days before thousands of commuters are set to face huge strike disruption.
Today, Bob Crow said London Underground management: "Haven't taken us seriously, and right now the dispute is still on... London Underground needs to make a case for each ticket office closure on an individual basis."
The confrontation came during the Mayor's monthly phone-in show on LBC 97.3 - thought to be only the second time the two men have spoken.
The dispute over ticket office closures was deadlocked tonight with millions of commuters almost certain to be caught in the crossfire.
London Underground says services will be affected from around 9:30pm on Tuesday 4 February.
