A couple whose baby's ashes were stolen during a burglary have appealed for their return.
The small white casket containing the ashes of Oliver Ryan McElligott, who was stillborn, was stolen from the home of his parents, Amanda Ryan and Daniel McElligott, in Stoneleigh Terrace, N19 on Thursday 6 February.
Police said they believe the burglar may have mistaken the small white box - which was clearly marked with the baby boy's name and the date of his death - for a jewellery box.
The casket was taken along with laptops, mobile phones and jewellery.
