Police are appealing for information after five dogs were poisoned in a north London park last month, resulting in the deaths of two of the animals.
The dogs consumed discarded meat placed on the grass in Salmon Street, near Fryent Country Park in Brent last month.
Two of the dogs died, while three others required medical treatment.
The meat was found to contain Methomyl - a carbonate insecticide which has been banned due its level of toxicity.
Dog owners have been urged to remain extra vigilant and members of the public have been advised to wear gloves if handling any substances.
