Woman stabbed with scissors in Sidcup

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed with a pair of scissors in Sidcup last night.

The 24 year old victim was at home with her partner when a man entered the property near Cleve Road and attacked her. He then ran off.

This is an appalling crime but I would like to reassure the community of Bexley that my team are actively hunting for the person responsible so that he can be arrested at the earliest opportunity.

I would appeal to anyone who may have seen a male running in the Cleve Road area at around 23:30hrs last night or anyone with information regarding this attack to contact Bexley CID on 0208 284 9257 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
