Labour has recorded a strong result in London at the 2014 European election. Labour has doubled its number of seats from 2 to 4. The conservatives lost one seat but held onto two others. UKIP and the Green Party each retained one seat.
The Liberal Democrats no longer have an MEP in London after coming fifth overall and losing their seat.
Labour - 4 seats - 806,959 votes
Conservatives - 2 seats - 495,639 votes
UKIP - 1 seat - 371,133 votes
Green Party - 1 seat - 196,419 votes
