Tennis with Cameron and Boris goes for £160,000

A game of tennis with the Prime Minister and Mayor of London has been auctioned by the Tory Party for a reported £160,000 to the wife of a former Russian government minister.

Banker Lubov Chernukhin, who is a Tory party member and supporter, won the prize at the Conservatives' summer fundraising ball on Wednesday.

The Conservative Party, which did not publish a guest list for the function, refused to confirm the amount paid for the match. A spokesman for Boris Johnson said it was a "party matter".
