Thames Water has issued a statement apologising for the disruption caused by a burst water main in Ealing. An estimated 4000 homes and around 30 businesses have been affected.

Here is the statement in full:

"A 30” water main burst in Ealing around 7.30 this morning. This has shut The Broadway at the junction with The Mall.

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience and are working to get this fixed as quickly as possible."
