A man has admitted decapitating his wife.
Naveed Ahmed, 41, initially denied killing 38-year-old Tahira Ahmed but he pleaded guilty to her murder in court today.
The mother-of-two was found dead at their home in Merton Avenue in Northolt on May 27 last year.
Ahmed, dressed in a dark blue suit and black tie, entered the guilty plea in front of Mrs Ahmed's family.
The judge warned him that he would face life in jail for the killing when he is sentenced on January 28.
Ahmed was remanded in custody.
