A unicyclist who was pulled from under a bus by 100 bystanders is awake after undergoing multiple surgeries.
The 55-year-old man was in collision with the number 212 bus on Thursday evening on Hoe Street in Walthamstow.
His daughter said he has been awake and speaking but will have to undergo yet another surgery later today.
He has a broken leg.
She said her father has been riding a unicycle for years and it is only because he is such a strong character that he has dealt with the incident so well.
Witnesses described people running from nearby restaurants to try and lift the bus from on top of the injured man. He is being treated at a hospital in East London.
