A 14-year-old boy has been stabbed in the back in a street in south east London - the third knife attack on a child in the capital this week.

The boy is in hospital with non life-threatening injuries after the incident near the Royal British Legion club on Eddystone Road, Brockley, at around 8pm.

On Wednesday a 13-year-old boy was arrested after a 14-year-old was stabbed in the thigh on his way to school.

A 12-year-old boy remains in a serious condition after he was stabbed in the chest eight times at flats in Hoxton on Tuesday.
