Fake alcohol worth more than £30,000 has been seized at the Notting Hill Carnival today.
The haul included 260 bottles of spirits and Champagne and more than 50 cases of beer and cider.
Six large containers of rum punch were also taken by police.
The drinks are believed to not only be fake but also over-proof, meaning more than 50 per cent of each bottle was pure alcohol.
The seizure was made on the corner of Ladbroke Grove and Elgin Crescent.
The matter has been referred to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Trading Standards department.
A police officer was stabbed whilst another was bitten in separate incidents at the carnival weekend.
