Forty firefighters battle to save Twickenham church hall

Forty firefighters battled to save a church hall which caught fire in south west London during the early hours of the morning.

The fire broke out at 3.15am at a Methodist church in Percey Road, Twickenham.

Six fire engines attended the scene but half of the building's roof was destroyed.

Local road closures were in place and have since been lifted.
