Two new catamarans are to be unveiled on Monday and will be the latest additions to the Thames Clippers fleet. The two new boats are the first new additions to the fleet in seven years and will carry 150 passengers each.
They were built in Tasmania, off the coast of Australia and have been shipped more than 10,000 miles to the river Thames. They will serve the Putney to Blackfriars route along the river.
The MBNA Thames Clippers river bus operation carried over 3.8 million passengers in 2014.
