A teenage boy who was charged with involvement in a Boxing Day row that sent shoppers running for their lives has admitted possessing a machete - and been given bail.

Teenager charged over shopping centre 'machete' fight

A 16-year old boy has been charged over an alleged 'machete' fight attack at the Intu Bromley centre in Bromley on Boxing Day.

Panicked shoppers were seen fleeing the area after it is alleged the attack took place.

The boy was remanded in custody and will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court this morning.

A second 16-year old boy was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of figthing with a gang of youths over the Boxing Day fight.

Armed police arrived at the scene about 3.45pm on Saturday and found the boy with a head injury. Two knives were also found in the area.
