A man has died after being hit by a bus opposite a Tube station.
The pedestrian, who was 47 years old, was hit near Mornington Crescent at 1.35am on November 19.
Police officers and paramedics attended the scene but were unable to save him.
His next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem will be scheduled in due course.
The driver of the 134 bus stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
"We are still unsure as to exactly how this collision happened and would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened," Det Sgt Chris Osborne, from the Met's serious collision investigation unit, said.
"We know the bus had a large number of passengers on it at the time and there were also a number of people waiting at the northbound bus stop opposite the tube station."
