Two of the Olympic torch bearers who will carry the flame through Oxford have been speaking of their pride at being chosen.

Margaret Stevens was nominated by Oxford City Council for her work in sport. She’s worked in leisure centres, schools and sports clubs to encourage people to get involved. She’ll carry the torch on Monday in Oxford between Crown Street and Temple Street.

Meanwhile Baptist Minister James Grote will carry the flame on Tuesday morning as it leaves Oxford on Iffley Road. He's been given the honour for his work setting up the community art project Ark T Centre at the John Bunyan Baptist Church.

Oxford's celebration will climax in South Park with a massive Tree of Light which is still being built. Twenty thousand people are expected to attend a concert there on Monday night.
