Several residents have had to leave their homes after an explosion at a block of flats sparked a huge fire.
An investigation is taking place to determine the cause of the blaze, which badly damaged a row of homes in Oak Tree Road in Ashford yesterday.
Ashford Borough Council, which owns the properties, says it is working to help find temporary accommodation for those that have been displaced, however they are unsure as to when this will be.
A Health and Safety investigation will be launched later to assess what happened with the explosion, thought to be caused by gas.
The council says it will be setting up a welfare centre at Oakleigh House where to offer assistance to those affected.
