The owners of a kebab shop in Portsmouth have been fined more than £10,000 for 18 food safety and hygiene offences.

Inspectors found filthy conditions at Mega-bite in Guildhall Walk during an inspection in January.

Mice droppings were found near the oven, raw food was stored next to cooked food and there was no hot running water in sinks- even in the toilet.

Director Minoo Sefidan, 60, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court and pleaded guilty to the offences.
