Simon's Blog - Space Station Spotting

Photo: Tim Burgess

Well now it's the home of Major Tim Peake for the next six months there's even more of a reason to keep your eyes to the skies in the hope of a fleeting glimpse of a bit of real life space hardware.

Obviously the cloudy conditions we've been experiencing recently might thwart your plans but if you know when and where to look, you might see a bright white light shooting through the night sky.

So how do you know the time and location of the passover?

Easy. You click here and it'll take you to the official NASA website where you can pop in your postcode and it'll tell you everything you need to know.

So happy spotting and if you're clever enough to take a photo, don't forget to email it to me at meridianweather@itv.com.
