Care at an Inter-County Nursing and Care Services branch in Christchurch has been given an overall rating of 'outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission.
It follows an inspection in May 2016.
Inter-County provides personal care to older people living in their own homes.
The report deemed the service 'Outstanding' for being caring and well-led and 'Good' for being safe, effective and responsive to people’s needs.
Deborah Ivanova, Deputy Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care, said:
“We received many positive comments about the care provided by Inter-County Nursing and Care Services. It is really encouraging that there was openness in the organisation to learning and to delivering an exceptional level of personalised care.
“Staff had the right skills and knowledge to meet individual needs. They should feel proud of the work they do and of the outstanding support they provide.
“Staff morale was excellent and they felt motivated by the manager to provide compassionate and dignified care.”
