Police renew appeal for mother of dead newborn found in Sheerness to come forward

Police have renewed their appeal for the mother of a newborn baby girl who was found dead in Kent at the weekend to come forward.

Her remains were discovered in Sheerness on Saturday lunch-time.

Police say they're worried for the mother's wellbeing and are asking her to come forward.

At the nearby Roman Catholic Church of St Henry & St Elizabeth, Fr Frank Moran and his congregation have been saying prayers for the baby and her mother:
