Remembering Alma: the highest paid British female entertainer of her era

In the 1950s she was one of Britain's most famous stars. Alma Cogan's hits included Dreamboat, Bell Bottom Blues and Never Do A Tango with An Eskimo. She was brought up in Worthing, where she learnt to make her famous dresses at the local art college. And, today, her best friend Lionel Blair unveiled a blue plaque in her honour. Andy Dickenson reports.
