Tributes are being paid to two rally drivers who died in a crash at a motor sports event in Hampshire.
Driver Shawn Rayner and navigator Steve Dear were killed in the Loco 2 Stages rally on Friday.
The pair had been taking part in the private event at Bramley Camp, an army training area, north of Basingstoke.
Their team, Hehku Rally Sport, said: "We can take some solace in the fact they were competing in the sport they loved so much."
The rallying world has been shocked by the deaths and hundreds of tributes have been paid to both men, described as ' kind, fun and true gentlemen.'
Claire Wilkinson wrote: 'The Rallying community had lost two great men yesterday. My sincere condolences to you and your family Declan and to Shawn’s mam and family! Shawn was the kindest, funniest and true gent anyone friend could ask for.'
Mark Welchwrote: 'Such terribly sad news and a very dark day for our sport. My thoughts are very much with you all. Sincerest condolences for the loss of two very popular and talented competitors.'
The Motor Sports Association (MSA) said it was liaising with organisers Sutton and Cheam Motor Club, and Hampshire Police, to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
