Murder arrest after body found on M20 in Kent

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found on the M20 near Ashford in Kent on Tuesday evening.

The man handed himself in to a police station on Wednesday.

The London-bound carriageway was closed between junctions 9 and 10 on Wednesday after almost 24 hours of delays.

Four cars and a lorry were involved in a collision on the opposite stretch of the same section of motorway on Wednesday, leading to the stretch being closed in both directions for several hours.
