Campaigners protest over plans to drill at beauty spot

It's been described as one of the most stunning locations in our region. The Victorians call it 'Little Switzerland' - but now oil has been found in the Surrey Hills.

It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and campaigners are waging a determined battle to stop the drilling.

Environmentalists argue the drilling technique that uses hydrochloric acid could contaminate the water supply. Heather Edwards reports.
