Unexploded bomb found in Winchester

The discovery of an unexploded World War Two bomb in Winchester has closed some of the city centre today. Emergency Services were called at 1.20pm this afternoon. Water Lane, Blue Ball Hill and Wales Street have all been closed.

Eyewitness Eddie Curtis said: "There was a lot of activity with the police, divers and firefighters in the area. It was a very unusual thing to see in the centre of Winchester."
