Just two weeks away from completion, traders in Wokingham say work to regenerate the town centre may have a devastating long term impact on their businesses.
The £3.8 million scheme to improve Market Place has suffered a number of setbacks and delays since getting underway more than a year ago, and some independent business owners say not enough has been done to help them.
They say footfall has fallen dramatically during the work, putting some people out of business. But the council says the end result will benefit residents, traders and shoppers alike. Mel Bloor reports.
