Eight homes damaged in Hampshire fire

More than 30 firefighters have tackled a roof fire in Portsmouth which left eight terraced homes in Hilsea damaged. No-one was injured. Crews from Southsea, Cosham, Portchester, Havant and St Mary's tackled a fire in a terraced house property in Hilsea, Portsmouth. The fire spread internally through the house seriously damaging other properties. No one was injured during the incident and all residents were accounted for. One resident's West Highland Terrier was treated by an animal rescue specialist, having suffered several burns and is now in the care of a vet. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
