Hector the beagle enjoys the ride with his new book

The adventures of a beagle called Hector have been turned into a book.

He is quite the celebrity in his neighbourhood because he can often be seen whizzing about in his purpose-built wheelchair.

At 12 weeks old the disabled puppy was rescued by the Haddon family who spent £600 buying him his own bespoke wheels.

Every story is his book is real and The Beagle Welfare Trust profits from each sale.

Hector has stopped the traffic before. People are so fascinated and interested and genuinely concerned for this little dog and want to know his story."
