The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting a baby in the spring, Kensington Palace has announced.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who wed at Windsor Castle in May, are currently in Australia for a 16-day tour, their first trip as a married couple.
The palace said they were "delighted to share the happy news with the public". The baby will be the seventh in line to the throne.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently visited the home of their royal titles on 3rd October.
The couple visited locations across East and West Sussex, including Bognor Regis, Chichester, Peacehaven and Brighton.
HM Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex, Mrs Susan Pyper, was 'delighted' to hear the news.
She says the couple made a 'deep impression' on their recent visit to Sussex.
