A new exhibition at Southampton Solent University is putting black culture centre stage.
The work on display includes images from street artist Carleen De Souza in, what's being called, Afrofuturism.
Called 'Black to the Future', the exhibit aims to help black people imagine themselves as people of the future and encourage the next generation to go where no one has gone before.
Also exploring the futurism part are pupils from St George's secondary school in Southampton.
They've been taking part in workshops where they're learning to imagine what might be possible in times to come; whether it's technology, the arts or science.
Our reporter, Christine Alsford, went to investigate.
