A young Chelsea FC fan was given the surprise of a lifetime when he got to meet his footballing idol.
Ed Garside, aged 19, was diagnosed with Leukemia on his eighth birthday. After three years of chemotherapy, he was eventually given the all clear.
Now a first year student at the University of Reading, Ed has been working as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, with the aim to inspire other young people not to give up the fight.
Ed was sent by the charity to Stamford Bridge to do, what he thought was, a talk on cancer. However, he was surprised to learn that he would, in fact, be meeting his childhood hero, Gianfranco Zola.
Our reporter, Cary Johnston went to meet them.
