Cyclist dies after accident in Folkestone

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit in Kent are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died in Folkestone.

At 12.55am on Sunday 4 November officers, along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended Dover Hill with the junction of Dover Road following reports of a cyclist who had come off a push bike.

The local 61-year-old man died at the scene.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Di Walker said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this incident and anyone who may have seen the orange coloured pedal cycle being ridden in the area. We would also appeal for anyone who may have dash cam footage to get in touch."
