Care home residents get festive with hortic-therapy

Christmas trees, Poinsettia and holly wreaths - Christmas has always had a horticultural feel to it and that's even more the case at one care home in Hampshire this year.

The residents at Greenview Residential Care Home in Lockerley, near Romsey, have been visited by a horticultural therapist.

Pauline Jordan, who runs Hortictherapy, uses gardening and horticultural sessions to improve health and wellbeing:
