Families whose loved ones died during the two world wars have been fighting to protect a unique memorial in a Kent town.
It was feared that diseased trees in the The Avenue of Remembrance in Sittingbourne, planted to honour individual servicemen, might not be replaced, after the council warned of "budget restrictions".
But that decision has been under review.
