Wiltshire Police's Chief Constable has condemned vandals who removed up to 50 poppy wreaths from the Cenotaph War Memorial in Swindon.

Officers found the dedications strewn across Regent Street in the early hours of this morning.

Kier Pritchard posted on social media that the actions were a 'total disgrace' and asked the public to name and shame those responsible.
