Lorry driver jailed after two killed in M3 crash

A lorry driver has been jailed for four and a half years for the deaths of two elderly friends on the M3 in Hampshire.

Susan Curtis who was 67 and from Aylesbury, and 77-year-old Michael James from Dorset were travelling along the northbound carriageway between junction 9 at Winnall and junction 10 for Winchester in June 2017.

The pair were returning from a weekend away when their car was crushed between two lorries.

65-year-old HGV driver John Rogers has also banned from driving.
