A holidaymaker from Sussex who needed major surgery after another swimmer came off a waterslide and crashed into her, says she is taking legal action against the holiday company, Thomas Cook.
Jemma Joslyn from Seaford paid thousands for an all-inclusive two-week holiday to Turkey.
But says she was left badly injured after using the five-star resort's pool slide.
Jemma was left with a split liver, internal bleeding, five cracked ribs and her kidney was damaged.
She says it is her only kidney, after donating her other one to her mum.
She is now looking to take legal action against the travel agent for negligence.
In a statement, Thomas Cook have said they'd flown out Jemma's parents free of charge, arranged a private transfer for them to the resort, returned Jemma, her children and her parents to the UK free of charge, and recommended that she claim for her hospital costs via insurance.
Jemma's case is now in the hands of solicitors.
