South Oxfordshire has been named one of the UK’s best places to live in an annual quality of life survey.
The Halifax quality of life survey looks at a range of data covering the labour market, the housing market, the environment, education, health, personal wellbeing and leisure to rank the areas with the best quality of life.
Areas which did well scored highly on things such as high employment levels, low crime rates, and good health and happiness.
South Oxfordshire which includes places such as Wallingford and Henley-on-Thames has an average house price of £434,000.
Vale of White Horse also came in the top fifty places - at number 11 in the survey.
