Appeal for witnesses after woman sexually assaulted at house in Oxford

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Oxford.

The victim was attacked after a house on Divinity Road was broken into.

It happened in the early hours of 9th February.

Thames Valley Police is stepping up patrols in the area to reassure residents.

There's a number of officers working on this investigation. We've taken some specialist advice. The neighbourhood policing team will be in the location for the next couple of days and the coming weeks."

Police are looking for witnesses who may have been in the area of Cowley Road, Rectory Road and Divinity Road between 12:30am and 4:30am on 9th February.

The offender is described as an Asian man with light skin tone, aged in his twenties or thirties.

He is short, of slim build, with very short dark hair.

Anyone with dash-cam or CCTV footage from the area is also urged to get in touch.
