Man charged with murder after shooting in Maidstone
A man will appear in court later charged with the murder of a man in Maidstone.
Jeffery Mills, aged 54 of Cambridge Crescent, was arrested following a shooting on Sunday.
Kent Police were called to Cambridge Crescent just before 11am on 17 March.
They found 54-year-old Andrew Jenkins, from Rochester, with a gunshot wound.
He died at the scene.
Jeffery Mills has been charged with murder, possession of ammunition without a firearms licence and two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court later today (Tuesday 19 March).
