Family of motorcyclist killed in Hampshire crash pay tribute to their 'biggest ray of sunshine'

The family of a motorcyclist killed in a crash in Hampshire have thanked passers by who tried to help him.

Roy Baker, 22, from West Dean in Wiltshire, died when his black Honda motorbike was involved in a collision with a beige Mini.

It happened on the A27 Salisbury Road, in the direction of Whiteparish, at around 3.15pm on Sunday April 7.

"Our Roy Boy - the most kind-hearted, loved, amazing son, brother and best uncle in the world to his nephew and niece.

"We couldn't be prouder to have a son and a brother like our Roy Boy. He loved life, he loved his family, and he loved horses and his side-kick dog Lewis.

"Our biggest ray of sunshine in our lives – gone, but it's not goodbye, Our Boy, it's see you later Xx

"Roy's family would like to thank everybody that stopped and helped Roy, it means a lot."

Police would still like to hear from any witnesses, in particular a vehicle that slowed down at the scene to drive around the collision site before continuing on towards Romsey.
