Oxford's first zero-emission capable Hackney carriage taxi has been unveiled.
The purpose built electric black cab will join the city's fleet as part of plans to phase out the city's older high polluting vehicles.
The hybrid vehicle has the option of running solely on its battery, and could herald the start of greener days for the city. The city council says having a clean black cab fleet is crucial.
The new, more environmentally friendly vehicle is proving a hit with drivers like Mohammed, who has been driving taxis for more than twenty years:
