Lives at risk as sightseers stand on edge of cliffs

Safety experts have condemned some visitors to the Sussex coast for putting their lives at risk by peering over the edge of crumbling cliffs.

It's despite repeated warnings that the ground beneath them could collapse. In one case a man was seen to hold a young child in his arms while standing on the cliffs at Birling Gap in the Seven Sisters country park and leaning over.

It was the exact location where a South Korean student fell to her death in 2017 while having her picture taken. Derek Johnson reports.
