Ram-raiders have caused extensive damage at a shopping centre in Kent after two cash machines were ripped from the wall of a bank with a stolen digger.
Police are examining the digger, found dumped in a field a mile away. The raid at Hempstead Valley in Gillingham is the latest in a series of ATM ram-raids across Kent. Abigail Bracken reports.
Thieves have used a digger to rip a cash machine from the wall of a Shell petrol station in the New Forest. It happened at the Windmill service station on Salisbury Road near Ringwood.
A neighbour called the police just before 2.30am on Monday.
