The mother of an 18-year-old who died after taking double-strength ecstasy tablets at a music festival in Hampshire, will be heading back to the place where her daughter died - exactly a year ago this weekend. Georgia Jones was one of two young people who died at the Mutiny Festival in Portsmouth in 2018. Despite medical help, she went into a seizure before succumbing to the effects of MDMA.
Georgia's mother set up a drug awareness campaign in memory of her daughter to educate young people about the dangers of drugs and how to stay safe. The Mutiny Festival has now been renamed as South Central and takes place at the King George V playing fields this weekend. Janine has been working with organisers to improve safety at the site and has an important message for festival-goers
