Benjamin Mundy, 11, died following a collision in Titchfield

The family of a Hampshire schoolboy who died following a collision in Titchfield have paid tribute to "one of the most caring and loving young lads that you would ever meet".

11-year-old Benjamin Mundy, from Fareham, had been crossing the road when he was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Mokka and VW Golf.

It happened on Southampton Road just before 4.30pm on Monday 3rd June.

He died later in hospital.

Benjamin’s family have paid the following tribute:

Ben will be sorely missed by every one that he came in to contact with. He had such a cheeky and mischievous sense of humour where he would be able to get away with anything with his cheeky smile. He was one of the most caring and loving young lads that you would ever meet. We are so proud of the young man that he was turning into.”

Hampshire police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or anyone who was travelling nearby who has a dashcam fitted, to call police on 101 quoting Operation Review.
