A mother from Kent is warning others to be alert to the symptoms of meningitis after she was struck down with the disease.
Sarah Hayward who lives in Gillingham had to have both her legs amputated as a result of the infection.
The 51 year old is trying to raise awareness that the disease does not just affect young people.
She's spearheading a campaign by the charity Meningitis Now, called Adults Get It Too.
