Southampton legends Matt Le Tissier and Francis Benali will take part in Countess Mountbatten Hospice’s charity walk later this month.
The Sunflower Memory Walk is a five-kilometre family friendly event around the grounds of Broadlands, Romsey, home of Countess Mountbatten of Burma, on June 23.
Every walker taking part will receive a sunflower memory marker. These can be placed along the route in memory of a loved one.
After the walk, the markers will be collected by staff and taken back to the Hospice – to be displayed in their gardens.
Francis Benali recently raised £1m in aid of Cancer Research UK after completing five Ironman triathlons inside a week.
Matt Le Tissier was alongside him for half a marathon as the two continue their tremendous charity efforts.
Tickets for the walk are £15 for adults and £10 for children over the age of four.
This price includes an event t-shirt, sunflower memory marker, medal and the opportunity to remember a loved one.
